Jussipekka Salo

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Helsinki and Helsinki GSE. My research focuses on household finance, particularly how changes in mortgage rates shape household beliefs and financial behavior. Starting from October, I will be visiting the University of Cambridge.

During my PhD, I visited Dartmouth College for the academic year 2022-2023. I am affiliated with the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Tax Systems Research.

I am on the 2025-2026 job market
